Who Is Imran Khan ? Imran Khan Kon Ha

 



Imran Khan is a Pakistani former cricketer and politician who served as the 22nd prime minister of Pakistan from August 2018 until April 2022. He is the founder and chairman of the political party Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).


Khan was born in Lahore, Pakistan, to a Niazi Pashtun family. He graduated from Keble College, Oxford, and played cricket for Pakistan from 1971 to 1992. He was the captain of the Pakistan national cricket team from 1982 to 1992, and led the team to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup.


After his retirement from cricket, Khan entered politics. He founded PTI in 1996, and the party won its first seats in the National Assembly of Pakistan in the 2002 elections. Khan served as the leader of the opposition from 2002 to 2007.




In the 2013 elections, PTI won the most seats in the National Assembly, but was unable to form a government. Khan remained the leader of the opposition until the 2018 elections, when PTI won a majority of seats and Khan became prime minister.


Khan's tenure as prime minister was marked by a number of challenges, including economic instability, political corruption, and the COVID-19 pandemic. He was ousted from office in April 2022 after a no-confidence motion was passed against him by the National Assembly.
